  T.G.I.F!!! Whoo hewww! It's Friday and I am ONE more day closer to some BBQ, If there's ONE thing I can give Memphis credit for it's the BBQ. In other news, I've been noticing that everywhere I go there seems to be something pertaining to natural hair. I mean like,postcards,t-shirts,purses, it's like a fad or something. I'm really glad to see a lot of things aimed towards children, really makes them appreciate their hair texture. I've come across some things that I thought were too cute and I wanted to share them with you.

   Happy Thursday Lovelies!! Sometimes a girl just doesn't want to be bothered with her hair but at the same time you don't want to look a sh*&!% mess! Today is one of those days for me lol!  Hey there hope everyone is well! Today was one of those mushy days for me, you know when you're missing friends and family that aren't close to you? I'm such a softy I swear I cry over EVERYTHING! If a close fam or friend yells at me ...I cry, If I see the starving animal commercials with the Sarah Mclachlan song playing....I cry, When I watch "The Notebook" which i've seen a million times I CRY!! So..well you get the point! lol  I start texting,twittering,and facebooking my friends and fam and telling them how much I miss them. My brother's response is usually "I love you too...are you dying or something" lmao..MEN!

My brother lives in California and I'm here in Musty Memphis %#@&*!& haha but best believe there's a change a coming lol. I plan on making a move to Houston,Tx and so does he so we can all be together and I can be there to see the kiddies grow up.

  Hey Lovely Ladies!! Happy Natural Hair Day!! Whoop whoop!!  I've been featured on Healthy Locs about my transitioning progress. Love that blog, it's so informative and I really like reading about other people's transitions so head on over there and check it out. I'm Covering The TN Natural Hair & Wellness Expo..YAY!!

  Good Monday Morning to you all!! I'm super excited today, not only because I watched the "BET awards" and "True Blood" last night (which were both awesome) but because I received GREAT news!!! I was asked to cover the FIRST Natural hair expo here in Memphis on behalf of my blog. I'll be bringing you all coverage from the expo, coverage on the special guest, products being sold etc. I'm super honored and excited, finally something for me to look forward to here in Memphis haha! It will be here on July 16th, the cost is $10 to enter and starts @ 11am. I'm totally looking forward to the products being sold there, I hope they've got some goodies because I have a LOOOOOONG list of products I want to try(I'm a product Junkie). I'm already trying to figure out what I will wear...If I'm going to do a braid out or a Bantu Knot....decisions,decisions hehe. If you're in Memphis or anywhere close stop by and check it out! ✂✂✂My Hair Cut Debut.....

  As my b.f.f. was snipping my hair away I watched it as it dropped to the floor and I was silently singing "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye" by Boyz II Men haha I'm such a drama queen. I just kept telling myself "You're going to look fab" and hoping that I actually did once it was done. One of my girlfriends has a similar cut and she looks GORGEOUS with it plus she cut off a WHOLE lot more hair than I did so who am I to boo hoo over a few inches of hair.

Here's My friend Vanessa's hair BEFORE the cut(that's ALL her hair) and AFTER,I think the after cut gives her a more sultry look!

 I plan on cutting off any remaining permed ends in December for my "New Year's Look". Not sure what cut I will choose, So what do you gals think of my do? Hot or Hot Mess? haha

Natural Hair Crush Of The Week: Malinda Williams

  Happy Friday Sweeties! You gals remember this gorgeous beauty don't cha? I haven't seen her in so long but really miss her on the Hollywood scene, she seems like a genuinely nice person. It seems that she's a natural gal and boy does she know how to rock a "twa"! Gone girl lol! If I had a head and face like that I would chop my hair in a heartbeat!! I plan on getting my hair cut saturday or sunday and I think I will have a nice quiet weekend, not really in the "Getting out kind of mood".  Well, I hope you all enjoy your weekend, be safe! 1 Year Perm Free and I'm Getting A Hair Cut!

 Yes its time, It's been one year since my last perm and its time to chop off a lot of hair. I will more than likely do it this weekend. I'm tooo scared to do a big chop so I opted for this length and style instead.

  Right now my hair comes to APL when its straight as you can see in the pic below but of course,like any transitioner my permed ends are all stringy and the natural hair is thick. I need this cut badly, I believe I will be ready to chop the rest off on new years day 2012. What so you ladies think? Is this cut a good look for me??
