Loosing Some Weight Y'all

Well i'm still on the weight loss and loosing it!! On january 4th i did the hollywood diet and i didn't stick to it so i didn't loose any weight at all for the two days i drank the juice. You're not supposed to eat but i couldn't contain myself.

  On that same day i weighed myself at home and i THOUGHT i weighed in at 184lbs but when i joined the gym on that following thursday (january 12th) and got weighed it said 189lbs(damn cheap home scales). I looked all disappointed and my trainer was like "Don't worry about it, you will loose it so fast". Here it is january 28th and i OFFICIALLY weigh 184lbs now. I kinda feel down cause i'm noticing the weight loss in my stomach and thighs but that ass.....oh boy, oh boy that ass of mine won't budge UGHHHHHH!!!!

  I know it won't officially go away but i know it will go down a bit because the last time i lost alot of weight my thighs,hips, AND ass went down to a nice size and i was pleased with my over all look.

  I'm not really interested in being that small again, though i wouldn't mind it but i think i looked best at 160lbs.....................

   Just looking at these pictures makes me kinda sad *sigh*, Dios Mio how did i let it come to this?!!! Its ssooo hard to get it off especially as you get older yet so damn easy to put it on smh. Either way i'm trying to stay motivated and i am aiming to be at 174lbs(10lbs lighter) by the end of next month. I think i'm going to start dancing salsa again, when i was living in atlanta i went dancing at least 3 times a week and that helped me stay nice and slim. Enjoy your Saturday gals :-)

   I was tagged by the beautiful Yolanda like an eternity ago but as you all know i was without a laptop for a bit. These are all my nail polishes and for someone who owns as many as i do i BARELY polish my nails smh. If you have any questions about any of them feel free to ask, there were tooo many for me to list all their color names.

Twist Out Pony + A Pic Of My Straight Hair

 



   I wanted to try something different with my hair after washing it this time. I usually just let it air dry to its natural texture but this time i wanted to try a different look. I didn't know how this was going to turn out as i've never tried a twist out on my natural kinky hair,mainly because it's been to short to twist.

  I didn't like the way it looked all down so i gathered it all up into a kind of pony tail thingy

 As I was looking at the ponytail it reminded me of a look i've worn before! I was thinking and thinking and thinking and BAM i remembered that back in 2009 I wore a Phony pony that looked like this. I had to search and search for a pic to show you guys.....

  So i'm just gonna prepare myself for people to ask me at work all day "Uhh what kinda hair dat is??" or " Is dat yo huuur?!" lol

  Earlier last week I rocked my hair straight but it only looked good for ONE day! Like,the second day it was reverting,poofing,frizzing,just everything bad chile. I hated  having my hair straight and I wondered why i even bothered to straighten it *rubs chin*. While it was straight i did clip my ends cause they were a mess.

  I didn't realize how much my hair had grown until i straightened it, i've never seen it grow this fast so i must be doing something right..right? I'm ready to get my box braids but I was told that the one lady i trusted to do my hair was like deported earlier this year after being caught selling knock offs, i was like "Damn what about my hair" *so mean of me*.  Back to the drawing board, i really want to braid it up so i don't have to worry about it for a good month or so. My Side Poof Is Bigger

  It's quite obvious that i can't seem to keep my hair in a protective style through these winter months.
  I have had my hair out the majority of the time because it hasn't really been that cold here and i always miss my rizos when i'm wearing a protective style. I did this little side poof  and you can see the difference from the first attempt i did a few months ago.  I noticed my hairs is a lot fuller and thicker since my last attempt, What do you think?

  I rarely go out anymore, mainly because i don't like seeing the SAME damn people everywhere i go. When my bestfriend called me about going out i was fixing my lips to say "HELL NO" lol but she asked me if i wanted to go to this club inside a casino in Tunica,Ms called "Push". I thought to myself "Sure, why not Debz, it's like 45 mins from Memphis so you won't see the same faces". Now i've heard of this place and always wanted to check it out and so i did......

The club was huge,the music was good, and the people were friendly. This lady even came up to me,told me she LOVED my hair and bought me a shot just because ...thanks hair!  #winning.

Overall it was a GREAT night, i ssooo needed it and definitely plan on checking that club out again!

    I know i have been M.I.A but y'all know i have been without a laptop since mine crashed. I bought another laptop and took my old one to have everything switched over to the new one and the guy was able to fix it too so now i have two laptops (oh joy). I won't be without a laptop again, if one crashes i have backup.

  Ivonne from IvonneStacyStyle.com always inspires me with her adorable, girly looks. I visit her blog quite often and have always been inspired by her style. She's a beautiful girl and everything she rocks always looks so effortlessly chic :-)

  This look is one of my FAVORITE looks she did quite some time ago and the look always stuck in my head. I took these pics on Xmas day while visiting family and such, I thought it would be a great Holiday outfit. I'm rocking my favorite half wig "Outre Yasmine", my shirt is thrifted, the dress i bought in a mall in atlanta at a store called pink ice (it was only 15 bux), my shoes are from ebay, and my jewlery is like so old i don't remember where i got them. I hope you like the look besos MUAH!!

My New Year's Goals And Such....

  Yes like everyone else i have  new year resolutions and some i have been working on since before the new year (#1 my diet). I am super focused and excited. Heres what i got so far....

Goal #1: MOVE TO HOUSTON,TX- Ahh yes as some of you may know i am itching to get the hec out of Memphis, Tn! I've know that i was not going to stay here just had to decide on a place to live. Houston was the choice for me because my family decided they wanted to move as well and Houston was the one place we could all agree on so come June 2012 we will be outta here! *throws up the deuces*

Goal #2: LOOSE THIS WEIGHT- Yeah, y'all know i've been dieting since i weighed myself back in September only to discover that i was a whopping 202lbs. Since then I have lost a substantial amount of weight and as of TODAY i am weighing in at 184lbs. My goal weight is 160-165 and I am currently back on it tough!!

Goal#3- EXERCISE DAILY- Yeah, the one thing i was doing daily that i stopped doing was exercising. I walked everyday and did Zumba. Now i am getting back to that PLUS i am adding the gym to that rotation. "Look out Serena Williams you bouts to get some body competition" lol

Goal #4- COLON CLEANSE- Now these may be a little personal but I really want to get a colon cleanse...like a REAL one. I have found a place and plan on going this month so i will blog about that when the time comes and tell you guys about the experience/results of it. I've heard people have lost up to 15lbs of waste by doing one(that would help a lot in my weight loss journey). If all goes well i plan on doing one yearly.

Goal #5- Grow MORE HAIR- Of course my hair goals are in my resolution, I want to be into my hair even more. I will start measuring my length and documenting the growth better. I plan on setting up little "seminars" on helping others go natural as well. I'm so proud of my hair and all the growth i have gotten that i want to help others get there. Makes me feel good :-)

First let me say "Happy New Year's"!!!

   I did NOTHING on New Years Eve, i literally slept right through it. I don't know I just wasn't in the mood to be out. I had my outfit laid out,accessorized, and ready to go but at the end i just didn't want to get out of the bed *shrugs*. I hope you all enjoyed yours i've been looking through pics and everyone looked so pretty :-).


  I recently bought this snake necklace from ebay (my FAVORITE shopping site) and i have worn it like a million times. I love large chunky,weird,ethnic kind of jewelry so when i saw it i HAD to have it lol!! What do ya think si O no?
